Welfare Officer

The role of our swimming club welfare officer is essential as they provide a first point of contact for children, parents and adults within the club who have a safeguarding or welfare concern.

Any immediate concerns for a member’s safety or welfare, should be flagged to a nearby member of BSC staff or Pool Centre staff so that it can be dealt with immediately.

Should you have a concern or worry about any member of the club whether it concerns child/adult welfare, poor practice, potential or alleged abuse then you MUST contact the clubs welfare officer and report your concern.

Confidentiality is maintained and information is only shared on a ‘need to know’ basis.

The welfare officer for Brighouse Swimming Club is Ivelina Ivanova.

Please email her at welfare@brighouseswimmingclub.co.uk
