Our Team of Swimming Teachers are led by Head Teacher Brian Smart.
We currently have the following voluntary teachers who give up their spare time and own family time to teach at Brighouse Swimming Club.
Our teachers are generally joined by swim teacher assistants who are usually our current swimmers age 14+.
The assistants tend to start their own personal journey of training to be a swimming teacher and take their Level 1 Swimming Teacher Certificate when they reach 16 years old.
Following the qualification of the Level 1 certificate, many continue to go on and achieve their Level 2 certificate or/and train to be a Life Guard too!
We are blessed that so many of our youngsters that have grown through the club, now give their own time back as volunteers.
