The Team Manager ensures team cohesion at aquatic events and competitions. They coordinate and manage teams during competitions and camps.
The role of Team Manager is a fundamental and highly influential role which requires the individual to take on a certain level of responsibility to the team members.
At BSC we are lucky that we have six Team Managers who are all qualified at Level 1 and Level 2 and frequently update their knowledge and training of the safeguarding and well being of swimmers and staff.
The Team Managers, between them have vast experience of managing swimmers, their families and events. The Team Managers are responsible for the administration, communication, organisation and delivery of events and camps whilst continually promoting positive behaviours and team spirit.
The celebration of success is key at competitions and at BSC, every swimmer, is valued and congratulated for their achievement, no matter how big or how small.
The cheers of support from the families in the stands, the peer support on poolside and the glowing team spirit makes the Brighouse Swimming Club family a pleasure for The Team Managers to carry out their voluntary roles.
